Manufactured from uncoated hot-rolled steel strip and hot-dip galvanized after manufacture – this achieves a thicker zinc coating than with pre-galvanizing and means all the edges of the channel and slots are zinc coated. SF channel can support 397kg per meter, uniformly distributed.
Manufactured to BS 6946:1988 and marked at regular intervals along each length with the Strut fast name and BS number.
SF Channel is manufactured to Strut fast product specifications and undergo a detailed quality inspection process to ensure consistently high quality, performance, and finish.
SF Channel is intended to be used as a system and each component carries the Strut fast name for onsite verification of system integrity. Installing SF as an integrated system following the Strut fast installation criteria substantiates the design load of the supports.
